NPEAB ... nine years on
The National Police Ethnic Advisory Bureau was established in Melbourne on 14 April 1993. Its mission, to contribute to the development of coordinated approaches to the delivery of equitable and professional police services to a culturally diverse Australia, remains the guiding ethos for all its activities.
Nine years since its beginning, NPEAB has been instrumental in initiating and implementing a diverse range of events and activities of national significance which have enhanced and promoted police/multicultural relations in Australia. NPEAB's personnel have demonstrated a commitment to continue developing innovative and effective work in this field.
